Cited for a traffic violation in the Village of Raymond, but unable to appear in court because of work or other obligations?  
You may call or email the Court prior to your court date to enter a "not guilty" plea. 
You will then be directed to call or email the Village Attorney for a pre-trial conference. 

Often, in exchange for a "no contest" plea, you will be offered an amended charge that will have a reduced point assessment
and you will be given time to pay your assessed forfeiture.  

Any agreement will be entered as a stipulation at the next scheduled court date. 
If your case is resolved by stipulation with the Village,
you will need to be able to submit a written plea to the Court to accept any offer made. 
Email is preferred.  You will not be required to make a personal appearance.  

Forfeitures can be paid in person at the Village Hall, by mail or online.
